Karoo Wildlife

ID: V07

Description of the project:

The project is located in the heart of the Klein Karoo near the Swartberg Mountains, about halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.

This is a Game Lodge  which accommodates elephants, rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, hippopotamus  and over 200 species of bird houses. For guests of the lodge bush safaris, horseback safaris, elephant feeding, walking safaris and elephant rides are offered.

Volunteers are given the opportunity to experience animals up close the Lodge. For the duration of the stay, volunteers will be assigned to a qualified employee who will  supervise the volunteers in all facets of work in a Game Lodge.
